FROLIC's Night In with C4 Table by chef Colin Hazama and The Sake Shop in Kakaako


We all could use some company. Join Frolic for an interactive dinner with tasty exclusive menus, great pours and a chance to connect with the people who made it all. 


Here's how it works: Pick up your three-course meal selected by chef Colin Hazama, along with sake to pair with it from The Sake Shop in Kakaako, on Sunday, Sept. 13 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. at Village Bottle Shop. Then, log in to join our virtual dinner party at 5 p.m. with chef Colin Hazama, Ely Nygren from Young's Market and Frolic's Thomas Obungen.



Three-course meal:

  • Dragon tea-smoked ahi pastrami served with Maui onion fennelkraut, caramelized figs, crispy prosciutto, Sumida Farms watercress and black garlic-sesame emulsion.
  • Slow-cooked Hawaiian kanpachi garnished with three-caviar relish, vanilla hearts of palm puree, Ho Farms' tomato raisins finished with lemon-marjoram coulis.
  • Coconut bamboo panna cotta with shiso, lilikoi syrup, surinam cherry jam and kinako rice crispy crunch.


Tickets are $55 each for the pairing.

Leong and Nygren have selected two additional optional sake pairings available for purchase at The Sake Shop by emailing [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation when your pre-order is received.
