Honolulu's buzz-worthiest new restaurant hosts an all-natto feast featuring housemade, totally slime-licious chickpea natto! Five courses at Feast by Jon Matsubara will feature this clean version of natto from various batches, whole-bean and crushed hikiwari-style:
The Natto Feast at Feast is open to the public, with only one rule: You must love natto! There will be no menu substitutions.
Feast is two weeks old and still ramping up, which means BYOB! unless you like water. All other drinks available for purchase at Manoa Marketplace, which is a good place to park; it's on the same block. If you BYOB, please pitch in and bring your own cups! Feast will have cups for water.
